All About Passion by Stephanie Laurens

Gyles Rawlings, fifth Earl of Chillingworth and an honorary member of the Cynster clan, is determined not to marry for love in Stephanie Laurens' All About Passion. To that end, he makes an offer of marriage, sight unseen, to the niece of an old friend. He believes he's chosen a docile, biddable lady who will bear him an heir and leave his emotions uninvolved. He arrives for his own wedding without having ever actually met his fiancé--and at the chapel's altar is astonished to discover that he's offered for the wrong woman. His wife is the cousin of the woman he thought he was marrying. The two ladies share the same name but the woman he has married is a passionate female that makes his head spin. Francesca isn't docile, certainly not biddable and she has no intention of settling for anything less than her husband's heart.

The battle lines are drawn in this war of love, with both parties well aware of the stakes. Will Giles continue to barricade his heart or will Francesca's love and loyalty tear down the walls that keep him from her? And if Giles can't thwart the strange threats to Francesca's life, neither may live to see the end of their contest of the heart.

This is a really good book. I love it because of the awesome action and romance parts of the book. I love the characters of the book because they are really awesome people. I like the plot of the book because it is really good and well written. I love Gyles and Francesca because they are really awesome people and they go really well together. I love what they are willing to do for each other no matter the cost.

Against the Edge by Kat Martin

A child he's never met. A danger he's never known.

Deep in the humid, rank heart of the Louisiana bayou, a survivalist group has something that belongs to former navy SEAL Ben Slocum: his son.

That he's a father is news Ben Slocum was not expecting. But once the initial shock wears off for the confirmed bachelor, he takes in the rest of what social worker Claire Chastain tells him: that Sam is in the custody of an abusive degenerate, that they've disappeared...and that Ben is now the child's only hope.

As Ben and Claire band together to track the two down, their concern for the boy draws them closer, each fighting feelings there's no time to explore. Because when their search takes them too close to Sam's abductor and his cohorts, the danger hits home-the son he's desperate to save, the woman he's desperate to love...
