Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger...

Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

This is a really good book because of the action and the little bit of romance that is in it. I really like the characters of the book because they are really awesome people and most of the main ones are vampires. I like the plot of the book but some times it is a little bit confusing but for the most part it is really good. I love Rose and Dimitri because they are so totally awesome people and they go so well together but they can't because they are student and teacher witch really sucks no matter how you look at it. I also like Lissa because she is really awesome too.
