There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
This was an okay book. I like the action and the little bit of romance parts of the book are really good. I like most of the characters of the book because they are really awesome people and most of them are angels and good people, but the other people are angels as well but they are bad angels but I like some of them but not all of them. I like the plot of the book because it is well written but sometimes it is a little confusing but it is still really good. I love Daniel and Luce because they are really awesome people and they go really well together. I like that he is really willing to do anything for her because he keeps finding her no matter what. I really don't like the ending because it is really emotional.
